I was wrangling a couple kiddos in between matches. The Cowboys showed out save for Zahid. That was strange. Hope he's okay.
Hamiti had the pin in the first period but ref was out of place. Not to worry, he made sure to get another with plenty of time on the clock and in the center of the mat. Wick seemed to have him figured out at the US Open so it was great to see the improvements and adjustments he's been making. I still think he's a long way away from his true potential in freestyle!
Plott very nearly spoiled RAF's plans for Dake-Kadik. He was clearly meant to be easy work for Kadik so they could build some hype, but he had other plans. That should give him a lot of confidence in the work he's putting in as well as exposing some things he can work on.
Wyatt was firing on all cylinders! He stayed focused and delivered an excellent performance. With all the goofy trash talk the production team asked him to do, I was starting to get a little worried, but he showed he was taking this seriously. Parris will get better as he continues to get back into wrestling shape and Kerkvliet is lurking as well. Making next year's World team will be difficult and he'll need to be at his best. As for RAF I liked his callout of the Paul brothers. That would bring a ton of eyeballs. He should wrestle them both in one night! Aside from gimmick matches, Tazhudinov and Snyder are major threats to his reign.
