Radio in the jackson area

[Bigwater]

Help can find the game on the radio anywhere

[anon1787432961]

106.3 FM or 1400am

Or install tune in app and look for those stations. WJQS

[Hellsyeah]

On the tune in app just search for Mississippi State Sports Network

I don’t understand why it’s on 105.9 or 106.3 or nowhere to be found.

106.3 finally flipped the switch to “on” but it was several innings in.

i was driving during some of the early innings in the game and surprised I wouldn't find it. I'm guessing they are going all in on the apps these days. that's ok, but sometime when i'm driving I really don't use apps on my phone to listen to anything. or if i'm in a dead zone area for data service, i prefer to have the ability on the radio. there have been several times i've tried to listen on the radio driving and I haven't been able to get it.

A lot of stations run basically automatically on the weekends and have little if any staffing. I wouldn't be surprised to eventually see radio stations do what printed newspapers have already done.

Are college baseball games on Sirius/XM like football games are?

[Faustdog]

It wasn’t on either 106.3 or 1400 in Jackson today for at least the first few innings. I was looking for it on those stations and it definitely wasn’t on.

It’s really a shame that our baseball network is so bad that we can’t even get games on consistently in the Jackson metro.

For future reference - download the HailState app. You can listen for free now.

The hailstate app and tune in are great but they buffer and you miss a ton. With the hailstate app If you lose connection you have to refresh and go through that CBS sports commercial every single time.

Yea, I wish 105.9 still carried the games....106.3 has really spotty signal and it is hit or miss as to whether it even airs the game at all.

[bbqbully]

I listen either on 106.3 or on 105.5 out of Vicksburg. First few innings weren’t on either station. Wonder if it was a network issue.
