IU Fan looking for some RAC info. Getting tickets for the family and question on the seating from the corners of the Mez level, since prices are about half of that of the middle sections. Obviously, center court are better seats, but are there decent view from the corners? Any of the corners better?

Thanks and Looking forward to a good game.

Corners are fine. RAC is small enough that any seat in the 200’s gives you a good view of the court.

There really isn't a bad seat in the house. The side stands are fairly steep, so even the 300s are still relatively close/ on top of the action. If you can be in the lower half of the 200s, going to the side shouldn't have that much of an effect. Enjoy going to the game.

As others have said, all the seats are fine. No better place to watch a game, its just steep.

See I was gonna say all seating is terrible at the RAC. Plus the concessions are terrible. Lastly we're all from Jersey and have bad attitudes. I'd suggest you and the rest of you Hoosier fans stay home and watch on your big screen.

The seating is exactly symmetrical (or pretty close) with the basically same view relative to the court (just mirrored depending on which side you're on), so no corner is really different than another.

The only question then is, do you prefer to turn your neck to the left or to the right? LOL

Do not ask questions here about concessions and location of lavatories and traffic control.

Thanks to all for the info. I have been the last two years (1-1), but always sat center court, so appreciate the feedback. One of the perks to moving to Jersey, is being this close to watching IU hoops and football games at Rutgers. RU looks better this year and is tough at home and IU hasn't played well on the road. Hoping you guys without Geo and us getting Phinisee close to full strength, will give us the edge.

If you wear clown pants and start your walk of shame before the game ends, you WILL be heckled on the way down. Keep in mind before you change for the game.

Enjoy the game (but not too much). May you never again see a Hoosier victory in Piscataway....

LOL. I wore them 2 years ago, didn't hear much, but the RAC was eerily quiet that night as it wasn't much of a game. Didn't wear them last year and not planning on wearing them this year, but my youngest son might. If you heckle a 10 year old, more power to you. I have had good experiences both years at the RAC, obviously hoping to repeat the winning experience tonight.

Bummer. Need to be 21+ for heckling.

Enjoy the game, eat before you go.

No sure what section this was taken from but pretty high up. Might be one more section to the left? Just to get an idea...

Looks like the aisle/stairs between 201 and 202, with 201 being the last section to the left of this view. The corner sections are narrower, maybe 9/10? seats wide instead of 18 or 20 (or something like that) for the other sections on the mezzanine (200s) and promenade (300s) levels.

Having sat there, stay away from section 207. The are right next to the band. Your ears will be ringing by the end of the game. 201, 211 and 217 are your best bets. 211 is behind the visitor bench, 217, is behind the rutgers bench and 201 is above the players entrance.
