It was pretty warm/humid inside the RAC today. With it being in the 60s outside and a capacity crowd, it definitely had an impact on the game and feel of the ball.

They were constantly wiping wet spots off on the floor all game when the ball was on the other side of the court. Geo asked them to wipe off the ball during his last couple free throws and I noticed Cliff struggling the most constantly trying to wipe his hands on his uniform, calf sleeve and even on the court. I would have to watch it again but maybe impacted his grip on that missed dunk.

Both teams obviously had to play with the same ball and not making excuses but something I noticed that might not have been picked up for the folks watching at home.

Rutgers looked like the heat was getting to them at the end. A step slower

Crank up the heat if you play a deep rotation against a team that plays starters heavy minutes. This doesn't help Rutgers.

The acoustics that make the crowd noise so impactful also makes the PA difficult to hear. Especially if the announcer talks fast.
