Alright boys so whats your predictions?

The above was asked in another thread, one that has gone abso-fn-lutely gonzo. But the question from that thread deserves consideration and was not addressed there. So I'm taking the liberty of bringing it to a new post, hopefully one that can stay sane.

I'm biased, of course, and I think WVU comes out on top in a game that stays close until the last 8-9 minutes or so. I'm taking WVU 37 / Miami 24.

I think it will be a very close game. It could go either way, turnovers will factor big in this game. WVU 31 - UM 28

Could be, but I've got a feeling that one of the teams will have some kind of break-down that allows the spread to go to more that 10 pts, maybe as much as two TDs.

I just hope it's Miami that has the break-down. [cheers]

I didn't watch WVU at all this year, how do you guys deal with fast defenses? I think your coach is good too.

I think the issue will be whether Skyler Howard, our QB, can keep his head in the game and not make foolish choices. Our O-line play has been solid all year, multiple guys on All-Conference and All-American teams. Skyler tends to either rush a throw for no reason or hold on to the ball too long. He is a running QB, not afraid to put his head down and take it up field, I'll give him that. But the entire feel of the game will rest on his shoulders.

As usual.............I give my prediction at or near halftime. I will go out on a limb and let you in on one secret. The Sky will be named MVP but he will get pushed by a running back and a wide receiver. Yes.............The Sky will be recorded in WV history for his play in the game.

Pretty sure Holgs will be able to scheme for this alleged fast Miami defense. They act like we've been playing in the Big East the last five years and we are stepping up to play the 6th place team in the ACC.
