Pee Wee Herman.

Sick fetish with telling everyone on this board that by golly he's right to be outraged at Cal's system and by golly you are wrong. Beyond strange and sad. I'm moving on as he's a complete and utter waste of time, and has always been one. I just hope he finds the proper cocktail of medicine some day.

Unfortunately I agree it’s a weak draft and IQ and NR stock are very high next years draft will be loaded

You don't get it, do you? Yes, I know who you meant was gone. I used those words as a joke, but it went way over your head (or around your neck) [laughing] and you took it personal like a little baby.
Watching you run for the side door after we came back against Florida after you gave up, took your ball and ran home was HILARIOUS.
Wahhhhhhhh crybaby you’re still butthurt over the Florida game. You realize that’s not me in that avatar? I know your dumb but hopefully not that dumb.

I tend to agree. IQ and other guys have a very good chance of making $100,000-$1million by playing overseas. Now granted that’s definitely not filthy rich NBA money buts it’s very very solid.

Being 20 years old and making $150k plus a year? Along with free gear, possible endorsements, traveling the world and playing the game I love? Not too bad.

Which, again, is why I wish they’d just let these guys go straight from high school or stay 2 years. They want the money. They don’t care about college (which whatever, I get) but just sayin.

Baseball rule would be the dream scenario. Let guys get a signing bonus, add a third round where teams could stock up on prospects and then stay three years.

I understand him deciding to go ahead and go. He’s just never going to be a desired pro prospect. Maybe he could sneak into the first round next year, but that’s definitely not a certainty. Weighing the fact you are probably a second rounder again next year if you come back, might as well go make money somewhere.

There are a lot of "what if's" and in life, there are always risks with everything you do. IQ showed enough last season to give him the confidence to bet on himself.

Overseas money will always be there, but the real money is in the NBA.

Why wouldn't you at least exhaust all options before you bag it and head overseas? It just makes no sense to leave now and risk going undrafted when you still have 2 years of eligibility to try to get a contract. Other players his size have done it, so it's not unheard of.

If he was your son, what would you say to him? If he was my kid, I would tell him to stay the course at UK and build on what he did at the end of last season.
I wouldn’t tell him to do anything. We’d get all the information we could, tell him what I think, and he’d do what he’d want. He’s a second rounder in a terrible draft. You’re coming back to maybe sneak into the late first round. I understand if you’re not feeling a strong pull back to go ahead and start making money.

And you are no recruit’s daddy but you continue to spew meaningless crap. Then you tear up after posts said crap in a public forum.
Who said I was a recruits dad? Where are you getting this from? Is this another lie?

I never said I was anyone's dad. Go back and reread what was said, apparently you’re lost and are in the mood to act like a keyboard cowboy again.

Nobody is dumping on Kentucky. Quit starting something that isn't there.

What I said was the truth. UK was ranked near the bottom in 3 point shot attempts. If you're a guy that is a 3 point shooter, why would you come here?

Facts are facts and you appear to struggle with that.

Nobody? That’s a laugh. You do it habitually and you know it!

And I said we had a very respectable season in spite of the irrelevant crap you posted. Don’t like rebuttal, don’t such drivel in public where people can and will take issue with it. It’s simple. We do get three point shooters and shot well at times. Conditioning often takes the legs of freshmen which affects their shooting. I thought all supa geniuses knew that. When tested, our shooting was adequate.

If he is a 2nd round pick in a weak draft, how will he sneak into the 1st round in a much stronger draft next year? He could come back to play PG and look worse, which would guarantee he's not getting drafted.

I also never said overseas, I said he could go undrafted, then get signed by an NBA team as an undrafted free agent, play in the G League while working on his game and be making six figures. That is not a bad life and can work his way up to the NBA.

Nope, doesn't have the size or athleticism to play the 2 in the NBA or the ability to create his own shot.

He needs to come back and prove he can play the point and be a distributor first guard and hon his skills and go higher in the draft next year.
He doesn’t need to come back and learn. They can teach him in the NBA. If he comes back his numbers will go down because he won’t be the first scoring option next year. It was best for him to go.
