look on the successful 2 pt. conversion. Was he acting or really not sure of the formation? Can you imagine how Herman would have felt it the first attempt had been unsuccessful when he called time out. The time out before the missed field goal turned out to be a huge difference.

He was 100% sure of the formation. They talked about it on the sideline. Knowing if the slant was covered they said to run.

That maybe true but if it was a busted play no one wants to admit that it was not a brilliant call. It really doesn't matter but just curious by the look on
Grier's face.

Was not a busted play. He just happened to hit his own Tackle in the back. I think it was designed to run off tackle and not to the edge.

DH spoke about it in the presser. There are four options on that play. Texas took away three which left Grier the option to run.

Are you talking about the WTF look before the touchdown? There was no confusion prior to the 2point QB run. There was a shot of Herman looking like he was struggling not to pee himself right before that 2 pointer

That was before he threw the touchdown wasn't it?

Went and watched again...

It was because of the defensive substitution rule where the defense can make a change if the offense does. The Texas defender was taking forever and a day getting off the field and Will was getting annoyed at the ref standing over the ball.

I talked about that when it happened. The annoying ref holding up the play for Texas to substitute when I don't think WVU made a substitution. Grier was looking pissed.

At the 2:35 mark, back to back plays without a WVU substitution, but ref standing over the ball allowing a lazy Texas lineman to waddle off the field.

So glad you brought that up because I was watching with a group of people and a couple of us blurted out "hey if we don't substitute, can't we snap it when we're ready?" So, either the Big 12 refs all forgot the substitution rule on back to back plays or... Yeah.

Went over to orangebloods and a good many there think that there were bad calls on each team so it's a wash. Hardly.

I know it's getting hard to keep harping on about the calls, but WVU seems to get SO many of them when playing FELLOW Big 12 opponents. This is the 7th season in the conference, but the "new kid treatment" hasn't let up. It's getting old and very tiresome.
