Grats on the win vs PSU, goofy year for all lolz. One question has been needling me a bit. I like the pressure you put on that idiot SJW we hired as a commish.

What was Frost doing offering McCaffery at QB? He might be the worst thrower I've seen in the last 2/3 years (excluding Maryland and Rutgers). Is Frost so dumb that he nostalgically hired a kid who throws worse then even he did? It looks like Frost doesn't have any type of blueprint and just makes **** up?

Martinez is 3x the QB that kid is. I feel Martinez has been saddled with bad OL and WR and has had to do too much. If you put Martinez behind OSU, or even PSU OL he would shine. My questions on him would be health, he takes a lot of hits like McSorely did.

McCaffrey isn’t a QB, but he should still get 5+ touches a game from the wildcat or wingback position IMO and Martinez has been wildly inconsistent. Oline, playcalling, lack of WR talent hasn’t helped, but Martinez hasn’t exactly elevated what’s around him.

your characterization of Frost is dead on.. it is as if he is just making stuff up on offense, and likely why there is no identity on that side of the ball.

Frost gets a hard on for anyone with athletic ability and thinks you can just put them anywhere and they will be all Americans.. even at Center when the guy can't snap the ball consistently

McCaffrey is prob best used as a wideout.. who knows what sort of deal Frost made to get him on board.

We don't have anyone who can actually pass, but Frost insists on throwing the ball around.

My theory is they planned to move him to some other position long term but their situation at QB degenerated so badly that they don't have a choice but to leave him in the QB room.

It's exactly what happened with Taylor Martinez all over again. Kid was supposed to play safety but they were like, "Yeah but have you seen how fast he is in the QB run game? FAST QB GOOD!!!"

I wouldn't say the qb room degenerated. It was never good or even improved under this staff. They had no plan whatsoever for qb transfers. They happen everywhere so I don't know how you can get thrown off by it every year. Taking only 1 qb every year when you have only a couple on the roster... one of which is an athlete who would be an order of magnitude more effective at any other position... is the definition of stupidity.

TM was a good qb. He got a lot of **** for his throwing motion, but he was a lot more accurate on downfield passes than either AM or LM, and a better runner too.
