Without using devious methods such as blackmailing a ticket holder's fat girlfriend or stealing their trailer home, how does one grab a seat behind homeplate at the Dude? The folks behind the plate always seem to be changing, even within a game itself. Today, I watched the blasphemy of two LSU fans in this golden space. How can I get a couple of tickets? Thanks.

I’ve sat there once and they were corporate tickets and I figure most of them are corporate as well. The University even has a lounge spot that they allocate on a game by game basis to companies who donate or are corporate sponsors. My wife’s company was a corporate sponsor and she’s entertained customers several times in the lounge. I’m not telling one of her million dollar customers that they can’t wear their LSU jersey to a ballgame.

The university has several options in The Lounge. There is one labeled "Office of the President" and it is seldom if ever occupied. However, I'm told by lounge occupants close by that if anyone does sit in it uninvited they are quickly asked to move on, can't have somebody drinking a beer in "the lounge of the office of the president". There is also a Bulldog Club Lounge and it has occupants occasionally but not every game. Learfield also entertains advertisers and their employees out there in their lounge and it is usually full. I can't fathom why the lounge of the Bulldog Club and Office of the President isn't full every game with a waiting list and thousands of potential users out there.................

The chairbacks are sold as season tickets. But if some stay empty long enough during a game it’s usually just first come first served for others in the Triple Crown room. Those don’t ever seem to go for sale on the secondary markets. So other than what I said you have to know someone who owns them and get them from them

I bought some Triple Crown Club passes off SeatGeek a couple weeks ago. Spent a few innings sitting in those grey seats as there were many available

More than usual available for sale in the chairbacks now depending on which day you want them for. Here's some "premiums" available now also
