Congratulations on beating Quincy -- all glory to the CCL.

Ealier on Saturday, a poster on Edgy mentioned problems with your streaming.

I recall that, earlier this season, it was causing you some heartburn.

Has that been remedied?

I'd love to be at your field for our game, but that's not possible.

I'm hoping for a great game with no injuries.

The NFHS feed today of the Rita/Quincy game worked very well, no issues.

Arouind 5:25 pm, both Eireog and Brin22 mentioned an outage.

You can look it up.

Now, could the Rita guys kindly add anything pertinent? Thank you..

I had problems in the first half of the Normal game. I don't know if I can blame NFHS, but I reloaded the page when the network was buffering and lost the connection to my router. Fortunately, the tech at RCN was able to fix everything from her remote location.

My stream was fine until the 4th quarter. I didn’t try reloading or anything because I went to the MC game at that time.

When I saw MC63 post's title of "Question for Rita guys" I expected to see a question about the time that the pizza would be delivered.

There were only 2 times the stream went out, but reloaded the page and issue was resolved. Overall, no complaints with the stream. Things happen.

For some reason, the Mustang Broadcast did not do this game against Quincy. Mustang home games have been on Youtube this year.

Against Quincy, they were on NFHS, which as McCaravan pointed out, was a good feed with a very good announcer in Matt Rodewald.

I have no idea for next week. I wouldn't be surprised if our game is either on WCIU or Marquee, to be honest.

If it works similar to what JCA does, and that's a big IF. Here's what happened to JCA's last home game that was on NFHS.

1) Like SR, JCA usually broadcasts on YouTube and it's very good with HS kids as announcers.
2) If a playoff game is to be on NFHS, because they own the streaming rights, the JCA crew does their normal broadcast, but broadcast directly to NFHS instead of YouTube.
3) You end up with a high quality stream on NFHS.

It's also true that most playoff games on NFHS are a higher quality than regular season games in general. I'm not sure why.

But, if a certain school typically has streaming and buffering problems, there is a much higher chance that their playoff game will also have some problems.

Yesterday NFHS or IHSA (not sure which one) sent a crew to Rita.

What is ironic is that the Mustang Broadcast didn't have any announcers or an actual broadcast: just the view and Mr. J. Snaiduf saying "First dooooooowwwwnnnnn" or the "Mustangs will set up SHOP!"
