Yeah, that's him. He does pitch. ER has two strong pitchers ahead of him in the rotation.
ER's record is mighty deceptive. They play in a tough, tough, conference (every single team in the PAC-7 made state playoffs) and were in a lot of close games. IIRC, ER struggled during regular season last year but ended up getting to the fourth round.
As for Stratton, he's heading to Guilford College next year to play both football AND baseball. That's awesome.

And hopefully can make another run this year. Yes all of PAC7 made state playoffs in baseball. If you throw in Asheboro that means every HS in county played in them…
As Chute said Stratton does pitch. I slightly disagree with him, gasp, in that I think the young man who started against Mt Airy is 1 and Stratton is 1A. The baseball team has been in every game, except for two, until the fifth or sixth inning. Just haven’t finished. Thank you buzz for the kind words.

You know, North Moore is still trucking along a collision course with Eastern Randolph. They polished off Rosewood to make it to the Eastern Finals. Would be interesting if NM met ER in the finals. Two baseball programs with rich histories and only a few miles separating them..........
Long way to go before that can happen. Heard Voyager has one solid starter for sure. ER has already lost to charter twice this season. We will all know by Saturday afternoon though
