I am one of the many who believes Austin needs to go along with the entire offensive staff except for maybe Beckton.

But, here’s my question…is it really the OL coaching or blocking scheme that is mandated by the HC?

Meaning if we bring in another OL coach, but we are still stuck with the same scheme….will we just get the same horrible result?

I'm interested in the responses you get to your question. I also would like to know who Austin has been the lead recruiter on.

i'm not aware of a blocking scheme where your tackles don't have to pass block against the other team's defensive ends.

Is this really a question? It's coaching 100%. Our guys don't have a clue what to do if the defensive front changes even slightly. They get consistently beaten when pass blocking. They rarely get to the second level, and even when they do, they have no idea what to do when they get there. Technique and leverage is piss poor. I'm sure a lot of high school coaches could do a better job coaching our OL than Greg Austin.
