Question about Walk-on recruiting

Is there an effort to get more Brandon Reilly and Todd Peterson types?

Or are they too rare?

We'd probably be feeling a lot better about the upcoming season if Frost would've done that his 1st year. Maybe with the time crunch they weren't able.

Supposedly Frost is the greatest walk-on recruiter since Tom so I would assume if there's another Peterson out there he'd get him. Which leads me to believe there's not another Peterson out there. At least not obviously so one could be developed potentially.

Got a couple of WR's. One from I think Gothenburg and the other from Oneil. They both kind of fit the Todd Peterson profile. Whether they will be as successful, who knows. I was looking forward to seeing them in the spring game

True, but it hasn't stopped.
I prefer we recruit great players, and still get guys from the walkons to play as well.

Ty Hahn, Wyatt Liewer, Bennett Folkers, Austin Jablonski, and (not yet on roster) Mattias Algerin would be some young candidates.
