my wife bought me a Snell 26 Ky jersey but no name on back.

I figured its because he is an amateur and cant have his name on the back.

Yet I am seeing all kinds of Ky b ball jerseys with Herro on the back.

What gives?

Is it different for football players and basketball players? Or are the ones printing the names illegal?

Probably custom made jerseys you are seeing with Herro. I know I saw his whole family in those jerseys in Indy for the Duke game

Nailed it. You can put anything on there if you want to they just can’t sell them that way

You don’t have official NCAA logo jerseys with the names on the back? That’s weird. I’ve got like 12. From Wall to Monk. Bought em online.

It seems criminal to me that the NCAA can profit off an individual's name but not the individual himself.

they can't. they do not sell anything with a name on it. Still criminal though how they operate in my opinion.
