Then they also get the Child Tax Credit. Hardly anyone is talking about this, but depending upon the age of those kids, your family with 3+ kids will get $900 per month for the next 12 months. $10,800 to go with the $8,400 stimulus. This will help a lot of families, but it goes to families making up to $170,000. (Starts phasing out at $150,000).

That's actually pretty reasonable to me. They are the ones paying a lot of money to create the future taxpayers that are going to get stuck for our profligate deficit spending and unfunded entitlements. Probably shouldn't phase it out so low or so steeply. Probably should tie it to their social security and medicare contributions, where they max out at not having to pay for social security and medicare since they are already contributing by providing (hopefully productive) bodies that will pay for future benefits.

Yes Democrats buying votes again
I’ve gotten three stimulus checks in my life
1 from Bush jr
& 2 from trump
damn vote buying democrats
Yeah it's hard for me to believe that this is buying votes, seeing how this stimulus will be long forgotten by the time the next election comes along. Trump's checks, to me, are more of a buy-vote than Uncle Joey's, at least as far as motivation to do it goes.
