I am disappointed to see this but not upset. We have seen this same tired act over and over. Everyone gets all excited over these 5 star recruits and most don't live up to expectations or by the end of the season have started some progression only to do poorly in the tourney. I saw nothing spectacular in his McD's game and the nice thing with him was the 2 year deal. But, do you really think he could have matched up with some of the big centers out there as of now? Plus, many big men take a lot of time to develop. I am still waiting with the exception of one game all the hype of Edwards as an example. I am hoping and hoping Reed stays but otherwise attracting the best of the transfer portal is the more likely thing for next season.
I have no issues with his loss. If the same bunch who ranked the recent class ranked coming class, we haven't lost much. The only thing our recent class did was to provide me an awareness of Oakland Michigan. So, I guess they did accomplish something. Lol

Wall never committed there, nor did Bledsoe, although they were both really close to committing. Cousins was the last.

Cousins joins an impressive recruiting class that includes shooting guard Xavier Henry, guard Nolan Dennis, wing Darnell Dodson (JC), and big man Will Coleman (JC).
Agreed! They would’ve been loaded. Those teams crashed the boards like maniacs & attacked on offense. Cal sold that to us.

Uh, I thought he was going to listen to the new coach first.
They were going to give time for Kentucky to reach out (meaning Barnhart) to discuss what's going on and apparently will still listen depending on who is hired--he was recruited by Drew at Baylor.

I appreciate the candid manner of handling this with Quaintance family. No BS coming from them and they need to do what is best for them.

lol. First off I do t blame him. These are university of calipari type players. But wasn’t it just a couple days ago that they said they were gonna wait?

Either tell the truth or GTFO. I promise we don’t care. Your goal is 6 months in lex and the nba. It won’t hurt our feelings to move and and just come out and say it
They learned how avoid a direct answer from the 2 faced master

Good riddance. Maybe the new coach can get some players that actually wants to stay around more than 1 year.
Nothing wrong with getting a really good one and done player but you aren't winning in 2024 starting 3 or 4 of those guys.
