We probably all put too much stock into Pilgrim's comments about wanting to see who the new coach is first .... myself included.

lol. First off I do t blame him. These are university of calipari type players. But wasn’t it just a couple days ago that they said they were gonna wait?

Either tell the truth or GTFO. I promise we don’t care. Your goal is 6 months in lex and the nba. It won’t hurt our feelings to move and and just come out and say it

It is what it is. No doubt all the news these past few days about Arkansas’ massive NIL influenced him

The way Cal and Klutch pull strings I'd be very surprised if most of our class doesn't end up at Arkansas
Same as the Memphis class he assembled before his departure. They all decommitted.

John Wall
Xavier Henry (KU)
Eric Bledsoe

Heck, I feel like I’m missing someone….geez!

Actually his goal is 2 years in college, he is only 16 (maybe educate yourself before blasting a kid). And it did not say he wasn't still considering KY. Would you want your kid to stay at a school where the coach who recruited you is no longer there and you have no clue who the coach will be ? These young stars do not put their future in the hand of ANY school. They do so at a school with a proven coach who can get them where they want to go NBA). Cal for better or worse as a coach, gets players where they want to be.

Wall never committed there, nor did Bledsoe, although they were both really close to committing. Cousins was the last.

Cousins joins an impressive recruiting class that includes shooting guard Xavier Henry, guard Nolan Dennis, wing Darnell Dodson (JC), and big man Will Coleman (JC).

You would think someone at UK would have the foresight and the ability to stay in contact with these commited players decommited players and our players in the portal and tell them to hold off till we get a new coach and that things could get much better for them. If their doing this their game plan and coaching ability is as bad as Cal.

It isn't about who goes there; it is about who is coaching them. If Cal doesn't use some of that NIL to recruit an offensive coordinator, that class won't do any more than his last class at Kentucky.

“His next number one class is the one that turns it all around. Promise.”

I can’t even type it. It’s laughable. How do they not see it?

We should all send them a big thank you. They are the only ones dumb enough to bail Kentucky out of that ridiculous contract.

Next time they come to Rupp should be very interesting. Wish they'd let people bring signs in. Can't even guarantee they'll let you wear a t-shirt or I'd print a bunch up for the occasion

I am disappointed to see this but not upset. We have seen this same tired act over and over. Everyone gets all excited over these 5 star recruits and most don't live up to expectations or by the end of the season have started some progression only to do poorly in the tourney. I saw nothing spectacular in his McD's game and the nice thing with him was the 2 year deal. But, do you really think he could have matched up with some of the big centers out there as of now? Plus, many big men take a lot of time to develop. I am still waiting with the exception of one game all the hype of Edwards as an example. I am hoping and hoping Reed stays but otherwise attracting the best of the transfer portal is the more likely thing for next season.
