Question, and this is NOT a knock on Quade at all. I just don't know much about him.

Is he THE point guard Cal wanted out of this class above all others and what is it about him that made Cal go all-in on him?

He wanted Trey Young. Quade committed first and Trey went to Oklahoma, his home state. Word on the street is Trey is a scoring point guard which might have caused some recruits not to commit. I'm happy we got Quade. Ulis 2.0.

I think he is a leader more or less. Trae Young could shoot, but there were questions about if he could play D at a high level.

Quade is athletic, has a good offensive game, and loves to distribute.

The main thing is that players wanted to play with him and he could lead a class to the Cats.

I think he is happy w/ Green. On top of this not being a strong class overall, I just think this was not a strong Guard (PG or SG) class.

Young was the guy he wanted this time a year ago but with Green's friends and how he wanted to play for UK while Young couldn't make up his mind and the fact many of the guys in this class don't like Young it became easy to move onto green. Green is way more Ulis while Young was way more Brandon Knight. We don't need a scorer next season we need a guy who can get all the studs like JV , PJ and Knox the ball and Green is the guy to do it.

That makes sense. He's talented, a pure point guard, coachable and he wants to be here - and brought others with him. Can't wait to see him play. Alexander as well.
