Pleased to hear Quade is coming back. Yeah, UK has more guards than you can shake a stick at, but I don't think having an experienced guard on your team is grounds for sadness. Guy averaged close to 10 while playing with a kid who became an absolute star right before our eyes in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

But who am I?

I think it could be, so I said "Other".
It really depends on Green and his willingness to accept whatever role that is, AND be a leader showing the FR what it means to sacrifice & "play for each other". Whether he is our PG, our SG, a Combo-G, starting, or coming off the bench.

I think he plays significant minutes (20+/gm), probably 25+.

Why would there be a problem with Quade returning? Anyone? I’m confused.

His returning and him having further issues with his back are very distinct issues.

My answer is I hope not but I have no way of predicting. If he is having issues now at 19 then it may pop up again. Hopefully he is strengthening his core a good bit, that can really help.

Instead of reading the 176 pages of the official Quade is back thread I'll ask here , maybe its already been discussed , as is every tweet/post /comment that our players make .. Did anyone else find it down right weird that his momma made this announcement . He's a grown *** man , why need your mom to make an announcement about your basketball career .. and furthermore why did everyone take it as the gospel ? If already been discussed my apologies
We have to remember that Quade never publicly said how he felt either way. All the rumors we're based on phone interviews with people close to him. Since the narrative was based on people in his ' 'circle', let it end with a his mom saying he is returning. If Quade 'announces' it, it proves that he was thinking of leaving, which I don't think would endure him with the fanbase. Plus with finals coming up soon, last thing on his mind...also maybe smoke screen to explain why he didn't test the waters like the other five stars in his class. All this is speculation, only based on what I have read and seen on other sites.

He missed three whole games, and wasn't it just spasms? Any of our players could get injured. Vanderbilt would be the biggest concern if he's returning wouldn't ya think?
Vanderbilt gets talked about a lot though. I wanted this thread to be about Quade. Do you think it was just a one time thing with Quade?

Caused him to miss some games last season I think.
He was out two weeks and missed three games. First game back, at Florida, he was obviously out of sync and did not play well

I hope it’s not an ongoing problem. I believe he will be an important piece next season.

I'm with you on this one.

Of the trillions of people in the world, then why would Quade's MOM disclose this information to JERRY TIPTON?!?
I’m guessing she was asked about it
As with Nick Richards, it wasn’t really an announcement per se. It was a quote tweeted out

I’m just asking. What did you vote? And why? Thanks.
I voted 'yes', because if it was a problem last year, I assume it could be a problem again in the future. I hope not though. I don't claim to have any sources or special insight to this matter.

You're Welcome.

You clearly said Quade’s back. Will it be a problem next year. Ohh, you meant his back. Damn, you’re such a good troller.

Mod's can you please ban Canned Heat for trying to derail the conversation about one of our Cats? TIA.

Your attempting to create a drama that doesn’t exist .., alluding that there will be “chemistry” issues by Quade returning to school ... God forbid we have a guy come back for a 2nd year?

I don't think it will be a "probably" if he comes back. [winking][laughing]
So you would say that it's a sure thing?

It’s not that he’s back. It’s that he’s back with his back. Good thing we’ve got his back regardless of which back it is.

He might be a so called "Grown *** Man,' as you say, but he is still a 19 year old college kid. His Mom probably believes like a lot of us old guys were taught. If you start something, you don't quit! I'm glad to see there are still parents like that today, even though their few and far between. To many kids "cut and run," when things don't go their way, instead of taking the attitude, I can do it, and I'm not giving up.

Dumb damn thread. I can’t believe mods haven’t deleted this garbage. Mods it’s time to take out the trash. Too many trolls trying to talk crap about green. Tard fans are too easy to spot.

True , I don’t disagree with you at all , but who says momma really knows what Quade is going to do . She can persuade all she wants , if he isn’t on board her opinion means nothing . Some “ kids “ do what their parents advise , most don’t ( until they screw up )
