Before we crown A. Martinez the second coming of Christ, let’s see him do something. Yes, he made a couple nice plays in the spring game, that’s great. But really, HE’S DONE NOTHING. Hopefully, he’s everything you all think he is. But for now, he’s a true freshman that hasn’t played a real game since his Junior year of HS. Let’s temper our expectations a bit. It’s very unlikely ANYONE could live up to the expectations placed on him at this point by the Husker faithful.

Well, Coach Frost & his colleagues were on this kid's doorstep a few hours into the job. The same Coach Frost who instructed Mariota, Milton & played the position his damn self at a championship level. I'm going to trust Frost, Walters & Verduzco that he is headed for success. As long as 2AM is wearing Husker Red I'm with him rain or shine.

Now, can you point to the husker posters who are saying he’s gonna be awesome this year? Cuz all I have seen is posters talking about the fact that he’s a true freshman and hasn’t played a game since 2016. Which posters have already made him out to be the next Tommie Frazier? Or maybe, if that’s too lofty, the next Taylor Martinez? I haven’t seen it yet, but obviously it’s happening, otherwise there would be no need for you to start this thread with your second ever post.
I want to know so I can tell them to wait until he actually does something.
