Adrian, Heinrich H, Logan Smothers, Joe Dailey, Jeff Sims.
Well...AM could pass, he is even getting shots with NFL teams.

Most of the other guys you listed never really even started more than a few games. But, I see your point.

I agree man. But if you can read a defense pre snap. You know who to throw to before you snap it. Good interview on X with Brady by Cowherd talking about what makes QBs great at the next level. Essentially Brady said it's understanding defenses because everyone has the arm to do it at the next level.
The OL got blown up. No reading is going to help that.

Good gravy we have the most stupid fanbase in football. Less than 40 yards rushing, and the usual mouth breathers are blaming the only guy that kept us in it. We have literally the worst tackles in the league. F-ing turnstyles
The same mouth breathers in ‘91 that were trying to run TO off. I would read the paper on Sunday’s during lunch break and just shake my head.

There is a legitimate argument that we did more today with less overall talent than UM did.

I’d say we probably have opportunity to finish 6-7th in big 10
Big 10. In groups, not necessarily in particular order.

Group of OSU, OU, PSU, USC, MICH, IND, ILL ....(NU plays 3 of these, likely 0-3)

Group of NEB, MINN, IA, MSU, MARY, WASH, RUT....(NU plays 4 of these, likely 4-0 or 3-1 or 2-2)

Group of PUR, NW, WISC...(NU plays 2 of these, NU should be 2-0)

UCLA.(NU plays them, NU should be 1-0.)

Likely scenario could/will be anywhere between 7-5 and 9-3.
Huskers are slightly above middle in the league.

Our ability to rush has been very closely tied to the qb run game for a long time now. Not having that ability in Raiola makes it difficult to stay in games unless he's putting up at least 300 yards passing. Dylan's our qb this season and I'm fine with that. But the ceiling with where our talent is at is about 8 wins, and I don't think that changes next year or the year after with Dylan.

Probably need to drop Illinois. How bad are the Illinois lines. Woof

This is JMO as it stands now, but next weekend we get WASH v. OSU, ILL v. USC, etc. That should clarify WASH and ILL group placement at this point in the season.

ILL could respond like NU last year after getting drubbed by IND then playing OSU off their feet in the next game.

I doubt what happens in the ORE v. PSU game will change the fact they are both top flight teams. The 3 hour time change for ORE will help PSU at a minimum.

Currently watching the MSU v. USC late in the first half and appears MSU will be a test for NU in 2 weeks and USC will be a real problem for NU later.

Just looked, our QB is leading in QBR and completion percentage. At least that’s looking at top 25 passing leaders. If we had a good O Line no doubt he’d be top 3 in passing yards as well. Not bad.

Lateef should have gotten a couple series to play. But he will never play in a close game due to Rhule not wanting to hurt Dylan’s feelings or bruise his ego. So unfortunately Lateef will only play in blow outs

We all know it's 110% on the Offensive line... again.
So, I ask. Who in the **** can fix it? Is there someone on our current staff that can help? We know Uncle D is a hack. Smh. I've been mentioning this for 3 straight years and still no ******* improvements.
You can go get all the skill players you want, but if your O-Line sucks it won't matter. You will continue to get results like this against good and great teams.
Can someone please make the changes needed? Can we send our players to a lineman camp for the next 2 weeks so they can get some good coaching.. Damnit.

If Raiola can start as a true frosh, Lateef can too.

The passing would be even, maybe better and we would definitely have an element of quarterback run game and someone who could escape in the pocket.

Oops, there he goes, sacked again 🤷‍♂️

Railoa will never be elite. He can only execute from a clean pocket. Otherwise, he’s stumbling around in the backfield like a dancing bear
He completed 73 percent of his passes on Saturday and rarely had a clean pocket. If you are not trolling? Then you’re a complete idiot.

Dylan needs to get better at moving in the pocket and doing less in big games, but he is a stud and could have one hell of a year.

How much of the playbook does Lateef even know? Most of their offense seemed to be out of the same formation.

Raiola needs better pocket awareness, but he didn’t lose Nebraska the game, he kept them in it. Not many teams on Nebraskas schedule have Michigans athletes up front.

Agree with this - which means we are up two tiers from where we were 4 years ago.

Didn’t Rhule formerly coach OL?

Since the line isn't getting fixed, and is as bad as it has been for the past 15 years, what do you suggest? Stick with the QB who can't scramble or run?
They have to move to a more uptempo passing game. Dana spent the entire first quarter futzing around trying to establish the run, and it was clear that we don't know how to block or run the ball. I'm sure they spend >80% of the time practicing the passing game. Why they spent so long trying to run the ball and then the decision to go for it when you KNOW that you don't have anyone capable of running it in is stupidity at best. We also did not throw the ball downfield very well, sans the hail mary.. 7.4 yards per pass, which includes the hail mary. This crap is all on the coaches as far as I'm concerned. Defensively, the coaching on the line and linebackers looks suspect as well. The coaches game plan did not play to our strengths, and that is on the HC and coordinators.

It's possible, after what happened this past Saturday that ILL and WASH could flip positions.
ILL plays USC which could maintain or drop them down, WASH plays OSU which could elevate them.
