As an Iowa fan who has great respect for your coach and program, am curious as to how good your transfer QB will be. How does his skill set compare to Thorson’s? Thanks in advance.

He's basically Superman wearing a Wildcats Jersey. Tough luck for Iowa... can chalk up losses to NU for the next 2-3 seasons. :)

Early reports are very complimentary. More of a dual threat and more accurate than Thorson. We’ll see if he has the leadership skills and knack for making the big play at key points of the game like Thorson did.

Reports from scout team workouts (inside source not prone to hyperbole): His sweat can cure cancer.

His name is Hunter Johnson. 6-4 200+ in h.s. His ESPN recuiting profile listed him as the number one pro style quarterback in his class. Fortunately for us Trevor Lawrence was even better, apparently. We get recruits like this about once every forever. Can't wait.....

Trevor Lawrence will be a 1st overall pick someday.

Hunter Johnson has the potential to be a 1st round pick. We're very fortunate Trevor decided to go to Clemson, thus freeing Hunter to take over for CT the next 2-3 years.
