QB David Israel

[MountaineerWV]

Geno not having a backup is Stewart’s fault

He ran off 2 QBs behind Geno and signed a kid who went to be a backup TE at Illinois St

Crest then Howard for Trickett’s backups

Crest then Chuggs were Howard’s

Chuggs makes Paul Millard look like Baker Mayfield. [laughing]

[wvpaper]

That isn’t accurate at all as I already noted in above posts

Trickett/Howard combined for 25 wins over their career

Lol. Nuts

I like Lowe. But I don’t think he fits our system. If he redshirts, we won’t ever see him starting for Holgs.

Lowe ran the same offense in high school as WVU runs.

Like Crest I don’t think Israel will ever be good at another position based off his high school film and JUCO film. I see Israel being a better fit at a FCS school at QB. Chugs is D2 level. I don’t think Chugs will even be on roster next fall. I think he is forced out or quits football after getting bachelors degree. He has 4.0 GPA and doesn’t need football. He is another disaster QB recruit by Dana. It’s obvious Dana has no eye for QBs.

Israel, as I recall, was an ultra-late pickup who was brought in as insurance in the event Grier did not gain eligibility...which would have left Chugs as the only quarterback on the roster. That tells a lot.

Navy beat the snot out of UVA today without completing a pass.

Doesn't really have anything to do with this thread other than it was interesting.

Those boys play tackle football and know how to block people. We need an offensive line that is prepared to play a contact sport, not two-hand touch.

The "I don't care if we show up or not" bowl.

Exactly!

This thread reminds me a lot of that WVPitteer Guy

He posted here. Once for removed by police at a Chaves Rawlins HS game for trying to touch the players.... made a security guard at Mountaineer field hold his baby one time while he and his brother hopped the fence to check out the team
