You have had some great players no doubt, but that doesn't change the fact that you still don't have homerun classes to become an elite school. Nebraska doesn't even have any of those classes yet. In order to win on the big stage you have to be chalked full of talent. You captured lightning in a bottle with Moore, and he has really helped you move forward, but you have to get more talent in there. It is going to be tough to get talent to West Lafayette. Brohm has done a decent job so far, but it is going to be difficult. It is super difficult at Nebraska and we are a football school with the hottest new coach in America (although it has lost a little luster with the start). I'm not saying Brohm can't do it if he continues to win, but you have to take baby steps and also Brohm has to stay or you are right back where you were. Like I said, I am not knocking you. I think Brohm is a stud, but when I think of football I don't think of Purdue, and I don't things kids across America do either.
