They had 3 different qb's playing with 3 different goals...
they have not painted themself into a corner with 1 qb (injured or not)
this is something with the recruiting and transfer portal I'd like to see in the future.
I'd like to see:
1. more that 1 qb playing
2. qb's with mental toughness, that can understand being benched is not a personal attack but a business decision
3. at least 4 decent qb's ready to play, with a "we qb's" mentality.....reference "we backs" for more info
4. I'd like to give this gift to opposing defensive coordinators something to fret over
we have seen many a qb transfer from Nebraska without proper venting in game time on the gridiron.
and have limited our options, notice what purdue did, mentioned above, also notice spencer rattler is not playing, and yet alive with no drama.
I'm tired of the qb's always being treated like they are mentally unstable, and will self combust if benched.
and alot of times when you throw it all on 1 qb's shoulders they tend to get injured more.
so lets be thankful to purdue and oklahoma for showing us the way forward.
