This guy. Tell us @BoilerN how he will lead Purdue to the promised land. ;)

Like the hire, He will likely be a def coordinator in 4 years but for Purdue it's a good hire. I kind of hope he doesn't bring his O coordinator. UNLV would be smart to keep him and pay a solid def assistant and try to keep pace with Boise.

Better than what they had, that’s for sure

Wonder how much of the Go-Go he’ll bring with him

My question too. Marion will surely get a HC job or a better OC job. So what does a Odom offense look like without him?

If Marion doesn't go with him, let's hope he gives strong consideration to hiring Satterfield as OC.

I’ve already sent Odom a letters of recommendation for Satt on behalf of Nick Saban and Andy Reid. Working on some more from TO, Kirby Smart, and Mike Tomlin.

I wonder if Frost was the backup option for UCF because Purdue hired this guy first.

This is a great hire for them and clearly it is his fake dream job so that if he has a winning season he will do all he can to leave that litter box.

I would have stayed at UNLV, better place to live but probably lesser salary, kept on winning that would lead to a better offer than Purdue. I just told my wife my thoughts . She went to Purdue. She was jogging around the house when I told her and she just jogged off.

Yep. Way easier to get into the playoff and it's ****** Purdue always a doormat. MBBall is their only saving grace.

The Go Go offense would be a great fit at Purdue, but I bet UNLV names Marrion as their next head coach.

Agreed and I think they should as I said. Guys an offensive innovator. Those types at a young age like him change the game for the better
