We lost those two games by two points each. Agree we should have absolutely won them. Purdue is a different animal and we had very little chance of competing against them coming into this game. They are simply not in the same stratosphere. Not the same as Stony Brook and Hartford. Don't know why anybody is shocked that Purdue at home is crushing us. It's important to remember that this program still has MILES to go and keep your expectations in check

This should be pinned to the top of the board. Guys, you now have a representative sample of what this team will bring most nights... hard work, hustle, but glaring deficiencies too. Rome wasn't built in a day.

In Pike I trust.

This too shall pass. This roster still needs to be turned over. Will take time.
Playing in a power conference doesn't allow for time to catch up with the competition.Without one consistent go to scorer means there will be tremendous pressure on the coaching staff to find a shooter in the spring signing period.

We suck. Nothing more than that. We are middle schoolers playing out there.

Serious question- has Deshawn ever hit a 3? I really can't recall.

If he was in a pick up game, half the team would be yelling at him every time he winds up to not shoot. Why does Pike allow this, ever?

We look pretty terrible. Disappointing after our promising start to the season.

thats why it was important to take care of business vs Stony/Hart because RU would be coming in with house money and I will tell you even with a similar loss this place wouldnt be so down right now. When you use up the goodwill its very easy to focus on the negatives of the program right now

The women won by 39. That's a beating. The men played hard and were out-gunned. There will be a lot of B1G road games. We have to stay behind the team or there will be 39 point losses for them.

the Wisconsin game becomes huge for this teams confidence level....expecting a slaughter next week at MSU, this team has a very shaky pysche right now, earlier in the season I could see RU coming back from an 0-5 start but I am really starting to feel that they need to beat Wisky or the wheels may really come off to the point RU struggles to win any games.

The Wisconsin game to me is a must win. And the Badgers are beatable this year.

Hit one last year to win a game, and I think he hit one against SHU.

He hit two a couple of games ago. Probably the worst thing that could have happened.

The dilemma being the Rutgers head coach is that normal game adjustments don't have much meaning when the team has difficulty even scoring 50 points in this game.
