Mods, why has BigNUFAn51 not been banned? He is obviously not a Northwestern fan. His handle says it all as he continuously rips Pat fitzgerald.

Someone commented earlier, but the wind is definitely a factor based on that punt. It would be nice if the announcing crew noticed.

Not sure I agree it’s a good play call. Took way too long to develop and with a confined field it allowed Purdue to recover. Plus as announcers pointed out, wrong call for zone coverage scheme.

but whatever, at least we are being somewhat more creative this week. Looks like we got to Chapter 2 of the playbook this week.

Turning point was no call on that interception. Fisher was all over Hopkins and nothing? Lol

In a small confined space you are trying use misdirection to get them out of position. They didn’t have to recover because they never over pursued. Give Purdue credit, they were disciplined on that play.

We miss a shorter field goal with the wind that they make Against the Wind, that's the kind of year this again. At the same time flaking his boat rollers beat Penn State they are unfortunately the real deal

Their special team unit executed their kick, ours didn’t. Players have to make plays to win games.

Wouldn't know it if you depend on these TV guys. Purdue also has the most innovative coach in the country, don't you know?

Lol wait until he doesn’t have a freshman team that is the most injured team in America ...

Take the team you saw today... of all the players who don’t suck (like holt, Mosley) remove only TE Hopkins (good) and RG Mccann (average).

Add Rondale Moore, Plummer and maybe Sindelar, and probably more talent than Purdue will have added in an offseason in a long time:

Four star RB Tirek Murphy incoming
Four star Alabama offeree DT Steven Faucheux coming off of redshirt
Four star strong safety Marvin grant returning off of injury and redshirt
HS AA TE Kyle Bilodeau coming off of redshirt

You’ll see innovative in ross Ade next year ... even with your players tripping receivers on every other route.

Even though I dislike when other team posters come on our site unfortunately this person is correct. Purdue and Indiana have much better recruiting classes and transfers coming in than we do; if we think this year is bad next year could be just as difficult. Things are not looking up.
