Looks like a winnable game for auburn
Man... Now we are going to hear about how the SEC is so superior to the B1G because of this cherry picked game.
Did anyone think this would be nothing but a train wreck for Purdue?
I’m sure it’s been said before but Purdue’s QB Blough really does look like the Purdue mascot.

Or they could cherry pick the fact that since 2010 the SEC is 24-14 against the BIG in bowl games with the average score being more than a touchdown difference

These are not evenly matched teams. I thought that from the first time I saw this matchup.
The BIG is just as garbage as we all thought it was when we were in the Bug 12. Only this time, that’s us too! (For now)
BIG first bowl loss for the year. Didn't think Purdue was going to win but didn't think it would be over basically after Q1
barely played 1/3 of the game and it's not looking like the Boilers are up at all, just OFF at 42-7 with under 5 minutes time of possession for Auburn - unfortunately, I only had Auburn at 27 confidence.....
This beat down on Purdue could have a lingering effect through next year, this is down right embarrassing
One game between two lower-level teams does not define the entire conference.
I hope Auburn scores 90+. Purdue needs to be reminded that they're Purdue.

Geez, I knew I would get home from work in time to catch the second half. Here I am, guess I will find something else to do before the ISU game.
As somebody said on our board, maybe the Purdue plane will make a stop in Louisville on the way back to drop off someone.
Evenly matched by record and evenly matched by how good they really are aren't necessarily the same thing. I thought Auburn was much better than Purdue. Purdue had one good stretch this year(unfortunately which happened to include our game), but other than that they weren't very good.
You gotta know when to hold em and when to fold em. He should have gone to Louisville when he was a hot commodity. Not only are they losing the game, but they are losing their composure.
Purdue going to the hurry-up offense. Scratch out a FG here, and they can go into the locker room trailing by less than seven touchdowns.
This is a Big ten vs SEC lower level bowl game. The BIG has to send someone to the gallows. Auburn finished 2 games under .500 in the conference. What other BIG team should be matched up with a 5th place divisional SEC team.

How good is Purdue really? They lost to E Michigan and got blown out by Minnesota.
Good enough that many Buckeye fans think getting boatraced by Purdue isn't really a bad loss.
Exactly as I pointed out. They had a great 4 game stretch which started with a win over Boston College(who was ranked at the time), a win over us(when we were still finding our way) and a big win over Ohio State. Other than that, they had a win over Iowa(who was ranked at the time) and some bad losses. Not really very good overall.

No the SEC is miles better than the BIG period and has been for years. Take the goggles off....
