these teams play at such a high level.

I think I am watching Allen iverson

Both teams bring guys off the bench that would be stars at Rutgers.

The crowd got in Edwards' head. They're all-in on him and he gave them an exaggerated laugh after a breakaway dunk in the first half. He's been playing thr whole game trying to shut them up and it's led to terrible decisions.

Maryland has two guys going in first round this year and still are a fringe top 25 team. Tells you how far we still need to go talent wise.

We're hoping that Jalen Smith stays around another year (I'm assuming he's the second one you're referring to). I don't think he's a first rounder right now.

The Terrapins have two quality bigs (the Mitchel Brothers) next year, but it would be nice if Jalen was still around.

Would anyone be surprised if Maryland went on a long run in the tournament?

Edit: I see they've fallen to No. 24 in one poll. Shows you how often I look at rankings lol

Why Maryland I think is best home court advantage in the B1G, they are a bunch of foul mouth lunatics that will ride you all game. I can't even tell you how many times a player has flipped the bird to fans or cursed at them. We are 0-18 vs ranked teams on the road with Turgeon and 9-10 at home vs ranked teams. Most of those games we were the underdog. Just goes to show you why Coach K and Duke won't play us at home ever again.

Coach K will never play Maryland again because the whiner is pissed that Maryland left his beloved ACC. He's a hypocrite who feels its ok for his conference to raid others ( a la the Big East) but when it's his beloved conference that got raided (Maryland to Big 10) - then all bets are off with Mr. Whiner / Hypocrite (who by the way can coach a little)...:)

I am telling you....in a few weeks they will be the best team in the B1G and a contender to win it all. I am just not sure about Anthony Cowan
Doubtful. They play well at home but not great on the road. It they finish 4th it will be a surprise . A lot of teams including ours are playing better, as is Wisconsin, Penn State and Illinois not to mention the top dogs. I highly doubt they make the Sweet Sixteen .

Kind of agree with both posts. Terps are 13-2 at home, which if you are looking for a way for RU to climb the ladder in future years, that is it. Win at home.

I still think Mich and MSU are the best two teams in the league. Terps are good and young and getting better. Turgeon needs the bench to keep developing as only Wiggins looks like he is ready to play at a high level in the league. Their starting five is really good and Bruno has a lot of skills for a post player. He passed out of the double last night as well as any big I have seen in the league this season.

If they can defend like they do at home away from Comcast they could be really good. As of now I think they are a pretty good bet to get to the second weekend in the NCAA and are going to be a tough out in the B1G tournament.

This league is really good this year. Really good.

Morsell did a VERY good job on Edwards. I thought Painter should have stopped doubling Fernando, everytime the ball when to him MD got an open look or a dunk OR Purdue was out of position to rebound.

The biggest question mark I have is Cowan. When the game is on the line is he going to make the right plays.

@Greene Rice FIG

Good college bball week for me. As mentioned I went to Purdue-Maryland last night. This weekend we continue college visits for my daughter and I was able to secure tickets to NCState@Duke on Saturday. Never been to Cameron so I get to tick off a bucket list item.
