Purdue at IU tonight

It is really hard to pull for IU in any circumstances. But, also probably not a bad thing if Purdue takes several more Ls down the stretch as we try and catch up to them for seeding purposes in the tourney.
No chance for IU tonight. Purdue has beat IU something like 11 straight times and this will make 12.
IU will beat them eventually. Maybe.

I don’t think there’s any way Purdue loses enough games for us to challenge them in seeding.
Spitting, racial slurs, thrown objects, physical assault. Aka the *** Hall effect. It’s worth a good 5-6 points. Also ncaa officials are easily intimidated by raucous crowds.
If IU fans weren’t already fully aware of how irrelevant their program has become, the fact that UK is pulling for them tonight because it helps our seed chances should drive the point home.
And the drama builds in Bloomington, Indiana, where the Indiana Hoosiers are ready to host their dread rival Purdue Boilermakers !
Purdue leads the series 124-89 and are riding a five-game winning streak at IU's joint.
And so, the popcorn boxes are printed, candy stripes pressed and clean, and questions such as :

Indiana is my least favorite basketball program ever. Their fans are about on the same level of delusion as Tennessee football fans. Would love to see Purdue pull this one out on their home court.

IU like always let’s them go on a run to enter the second half. TJD just picked up his 3rd foul too, no way they win this without him all game.
Even though I'm old enough to be from the time period that I should hate IU a great deal, they are in no way near as hated by me as North Carolina and Duke. I think their irrelevance is part of it.

The measure of how badly Indiana sucks CANNOT be overestimated AT ANY TIME.
