I mean, I’ve been a college football fan my entire adult life. So, within the rules, if a punting team touches the ball first after the punt, then the ball is dead, correct?

Also, I was told that the officiating crew was from the SEC. Is that correct?

The Memphis player

could have oicked the ball up, and run with it.

If he fumbled it, it then went back to the spot that Our player last touched the ball. As their ball.

He put his hand down on the ball for at least 3 seconds. It was long enough for the official to throw his marker then wave his hands one time and he was going for the second wave when the memphis player picked it up and on the replay you could see he looked like a deer in headlights. I'm thinking they let it go bc surely this will be reviewed right. Well no buddy you **** the bed. Blow your 17ing whistle as hard as you can and once again Memphis lined up and played the play with two #4's on the field so this actually should have never happened. Play should have been re done.
