This kid is maybe as needed as a QB. I'm not sure there's a QB in the portal as good at QB as this kid is at punting. We need to tell him that not only will we give you a scholarship but we'll guarantee that you'll start.

There are a TON of kids playing at schools like Montana who could play in the B1G. Some played at smaller high schools. Some were late bloomers.

This kid is maybe as needed as a QB. I'm not sure there's a QB in the portal as good at QB as this kid is at punting. We need to tell him that not only will we give you a scholarship but we'll guarantee that you'll start.

He would have been Top 15 in the NCAA this year. How more game would we have won with a punter like that?

He probably punted at altitude a fair number of times but he also likely punted in some really crappy conditions at times. If he can just punt consistently it would be a huge benefit.
