So what will be punishment for the false block in the back call? Should be league be required to develop a corrective action plan? Why does this kind of stuff (missed calls/false calls) continue to happen in the SEC?

Put an SJW style internet mob on that ***. Make him miserable for a few days.

^im half way joking. I do think his pathetic *** call should be sent to every sports news type outlet. Phantom calls like that are complete horseshit and he should feel some discomfort.

You aren't talking about Rob Skelton are you?

I think he should remain anonymous. I wouldn't want anyone who does business with the First Bank of Alabama, especially the Lincoln branch, to know he works there.

They might issue a "my bad" and keep rolling. It's funny how most agree that the officiating is bad, but it never negatively impacts Bama. Hmmm, maybe they are just that composed year after year after year. Bama would have probably won 17-7, but there is no honor in winning like they did today. Part of the blame should fall on Moorhead for not calling a time out for challenge.

Kentucky fans went after a basketball official’s home roofing business and ruined him 2 years ago. It would be funny as hell to do the same thing to Rob skelton but I would imagine he is pretty safe as his bank is in Alabama and he never penalizes Alabama.

Some of you guys need to get a grip on yourselves.

The athletic directors, university presidents, and SEC admin should realize that the poor officiating is damaging their brand / product. It's really up to them to take corrective actions.

Don't let your frustration turn you into someone that you don't want to be.

You mean Rob Skelton who’s daddy played QB for The Bear? Surely he wouldn’t be biased...

Well if the leadership in place won't do anything to correct this crap, the next option is what they call street justice.

The ADs, University Pres. and SEC Adm. need to hear from the rank and file. We should speak up. Ask what's the plan for corrective action? We can not sit back year after year with the same missed calls or oversight and errors and allow it to continue.

Here's my plan:
Ask for an independent league (ACC or Big Ten) to review the crew on a week to week basis. Suspend a Ref after 3 missed calls 1 game. And bring in new Ref. from the outside. I haven't seen a new head official in years.

It's time for a new plan cause the game isn't fair and objective. I want to be a fan that enjoys the game and not someone who's questioning the officials week after week.

Share your plan.

Let remain civil. Start with an email to the AD. He's the head of the department.

Fair is Fair and Right is Right. I want the Refs to the Fair and Right.

But what if the person I am now, wants to be the person you don’t think I want to be? Hmmm? Hmmm?

My head's been spinning since that no-call on the fumble and went into overdrive when the touchdown was called back for no reason. Now, I'm supposed to untangle an existential riddle involving double negatives? Man, I'm as confused as Nick Fitzgerald facing a pass rush.

But I do appreciate your sense of humor.

Finebaum or Clay Travis would have to take up the fight and push the issue, but Finebaum is up Bama's ___ and Travis probably don't care enough about MSU. Someone with a big voice has to lead the charge, maybe we should join forces with James Carville and make sure he has all needed ammunition?

Playoff committee should drop Bama a spot. Send a message.

And there are a couple of radio hosts who are incurring legal fees because of it.

And exactly how did the incident ruin Higgins? He’s still calling games and his company is still in business. He and his crew weren’t allowed to call the Final Four last year but that was because of a blown call in an earlier NCAAT game involving Auburn and CofC.

My plan is to not waste much time on an issue that doesn’t effect my compensation.

You can fire off all the emails you want, but there will always be blown calls, booted balls, missed reads and air balls.

No campaign is ever going to change that.

We can do better. We need to do better.

The plan is "everybody makes mistakes" and move on.

Sincerely,

Head Office of the Southeastern Conference

Yes the SEC should fire this guy and move on. The big mistake was to allow this Ref to continue to manipulate the game. I don't know his motives. But I witnessed his action. He could have change the error. But he stood there and provided false witness. He needs to go. And anyone in the SEC League Office that doesn't support and understand why he needs to go needs to be replaced. We can do better. And we must do better.

If I were Moorhead, I'd sure be talking about it during my press conference Monday. At least then it becomes a story. I would happily pay the fine with a check. On the FOR line it would say "Better Refs".

There should be something like this simply because of the need for improvement in our officiating across the board. We are supposed to have the best league and we should have the best officiating as well. You can go game to game each week and see problems no matter WHO is playing.

It is always a "problem" in some of the high profile school games it seems, but if you pay attention you will see it in Mizzou vs Vanderbilt.
