Seems like a perfect fit for wind and solar. Store the energy and sell electricity during peak demand when it brings much higher prices.

I’ve wondered why this idea hasn’t been more prominently considered; it is just common sense.

Maybe it’s because dams aren’t necessarily seen as environmentally friendly. See the link and note the cost of solar.

If you had read the web page, which you obviously didn’t, you’d see groups like the Sierra Club are working against even green energy options, not just coal.
You’re correct. I’m not clicking on a Sierra Club link. They’re the Alex Jones of the environmentalists.
