I think I am going to avoid chiming in on Rafters... Unless I said "Oh man the refs just HOSED MSU" I think I would take quite an *** beating:)
Haha. No *** beating here. Just want an honest, unbiased opinion of how the game was officiated and the flopping. No bashing from me. I can't speak for the rest of Rafters, though lol.

Love how UL fans walk around like they're charter members of the acc. Remember the metro conference?

How many titles do the cardz have that weren't bought with hookers? You know what's coming better prepare your Anas.

Louisville has been a Mid Major for most of it's existence, now they think they are tough ****,but still UK's little punks, the only Title UL can claim since the Three Point Shot was initiated is Tainted and will likely be removed for CHEATING

Beat them with 6 players IDIOT a win is a win. And the cards are ready this year MORON! Put your joke team in the acc and they lose 5-6 games every year. Calimari has one title in the one and done era like Louisville does!! haHA

Blown any good leads lately?

Glad your Cards are ready for another *** whooping on their home floor, though.

I have never seen any team get by with so many flops and walks as this Duke team. Luke Canard, clearly walked on two of his scoring baskets. That drew so much praise from Bilas. Allen walked on several of his scoring moves too! MSU, had so many touch fouls called on them during Duke's 10 point run. When they got their 10 point separation from MSU, Hmmm.

Duke had better hope that the 3 freshmen are as good as advertised, because the team they ran out on the floor last night poses NO threat to UK or maybe even Carolina.

Look, you've been conditioned to bias reffing for your entire life. This was just a normal home game for you. Of course you didn't see anything.

That isn't true.

There was a game in 1997 where the check didn't clear, and the refs called a fair game. It was, frankly, terrible, and went a LONG way to undoing years of conditioning.

Thankfully things got back on the right track soon thereafter.

Just curious, but you posted this on the nat'l board to me last night when I was criticizing the officiating. Do you still believe Duke didn't get an absurd whistle?

Eh. Multiple fan bases get their panties in a twist over Duke. It was basically all UK fans and Spartan fans (with a UNC fan and that one Michigan guy pitching in) bitching here. You ever go to a Duke game when there are multiple fan bases in the building? Every single one cries about Duke. Jeffersons second foul was BS, the completely missed goaltend was BS, etc etc. There were missed or poor calls on both sides. The refs didn't decide the game... A bunch of freshmen fouling a team with a far higher basketball IQ and shifty guards helped decide the game.

The tripping call on Bridges I think happened because he stretched out his legs momentarily and Jefferson tripped over them as Bridges pulled them back towards him.

Good win. Can't believe this Duke team has won as many as they have. Some big balls. Basically a basket or two from being undefeated, which is nuts with what we have playing.

Love it - have known he's a complete fraud all along... Mr. Passive aggressive lecture TheDude1. Please let this be a lesson to all - there is no such thing as a good poster from Douche U.

Thanks for calling him out. This post contradicts so much crap he posts on RR. Sounds like he cares more about the Kansas loss than he let on - lol!

It is so easy to hate Douche... so many reasons. It was so predictable when the "bunch of freshmen" began fouling... lol.

Yeah and Bilas was bad last night too - as so many elaborated on.

It's gonna take a God inspired effort for someone to beat them in March when it's 8 on 5 plus ESPN in the back pocket... but I have hope.

Lastly, POY candidate Grayson Allen is insufferable to watch... spastic flailing constantly. As I said earlier - - - He's on his back with his legs in the air more than Katina Powell on a UL recruiting visit.

You can just answer here if that's okay. Consistency is key. Do you think it was an evenly officiated contest or did Duke get preferential treatment?

TheDude isn't bad. He's just not congruent with his statements between both boards, which is frustrating. He rails on UK on the nat'l board and then comes over here and does an about face. I don't know how anyone could have watched that game last night and not recognized the blatant home cooking. It would take a true homer of epic proportions, for sure.

I'm sure you are right, but I appreciate the way you called out his passive aggressive and less than consistent nature. I didn't say he was a bad person, but that he is clearly PA on a certifiable level. It's sad to present oneself in numerous twisted ways....

Actually that game was called fairly. It's what happens when your reality gets distorted and warped.

The problem is that you all have never suffered any real consequences from your silver platter lifestyle. You see, when you have Daddy Warbucks (ESPN/NCAA) ensuring that your success is safely encapsulated inside a protective bubble, you never learn real life implications because it's been sheltered from you.

If any real whistle blower has the nads to leak the dirt between the ESPN/Duke/NCAA triad, it would be the first step towards unbiased officiating (and cleaning up the favoritism in college basketball)

Well duke won't have to worry about 40-0 will they ,barely beat Mich St at home, you know the team UK destroyed on a neutral floor while dook was getting beat by Kansas, and Lil' Bro fans live through other conference teams all the time.Neither Dook or UL can match UK's accomplishments

Yes, barely beat Sparty. And if we remove three of Kentucky's four highest rated recruits from your lineup how would the Cats be playing right now do you think? (in looking at the rankings it would be Monk, Gabriel and Fox whom we would take out) Kansas with their full team needed a last second shot to beat Duke's B-team essentially.

I've seen a lot of November National Championships in Lexington. (and Chapel Hill and Durham for that matter) so what's going on right now is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. A lot of these teams will look very different down the road.

How many games have Giles,Bolden, and Tatum played in? Kentucky has the roster it started playing with,we have lost key players before, but never got a pass on what might have been,so time to quit the excuse and deal with what it is.

My point is, most teams wouldn't survive with the amount of injuries Duke has had and yet Duke is 7-1 because they can still put out a very competitive team on the court. Also the other point, we're a long way from March.

No one expects a pass, however I do think snide remarks about a margin of victory when you know good and well that the winning team is without three NBA players for the time being is a little bit disingenuous. Why even make a remark at all? a W is a W.

The point is if you never had them to start with, why are you claiming you lost them? Will Duke be better off when one or more come back? Most Likely, but there is NO POSITIVE PROOF OF THAT ,until that time, you have what you have.

Even bring back God's Miracle Angels (Bolden, Giles, and Tatum). we'll still smoke you by 15 in your own place with your own refs.

According to this, not one of those guys has played in an actual game for Duke this season,
Injuries in the preseason have left the Blue Devils short in the paint: Forward Jayson Tatum missed both exhibition games after spraining his foot during a practice last month, center Marques Bolden earlier this week was declared out of both games this weekend with a leg injury, and forward Harry Giles is recovering after having his left knee scoped in October to clean up some loose bodies and scar tissue.

If you never had them, then how did you lose them?

This is why I can't stand Duke fans for the most part. Why are you even worried about what another fan base is saying on their board about a school you know we can't stand? Just screams Duke Fan.

You're missing one key thing...Duke has a lot of players come back. That, along with their recruits, is why nearly everyone had them preseason #1.

Grayson Allen- Junior
Luke Kennard- Sophomore
Matt Jones- Senior
Amile Jefferson- Senior
Sean Obi- Junior
Chase Jeter- Sophomore

AND you still have Frank Jackson and Javin DeLaurier

If you take away the 3 UK recruits you mentioned (Fox, Monk and Gabriel), it's not the same scenario...

Mychal Mulder- Senior (just now getting any minutes)
Isaiah Briscoe- Sophomore
Isaac Humphries Sophomore
Dominique Hawkins- Senior
Derek Willis- Senior

Along with freshmen SKJ, Bam and Tai wynyard (redshirt last year)

Out of that 5 above, only 3 of them played significant minutes last year.
