I had to go back and watch the first half of last year's game just to remind myself of exactly what happened. Honestly, it wasn't what I remembered. We all know that Jeff Sims gave the game away with his turnovers. But man, it's actually hard to believe the extent to which one guy lost that game for us. Just inexplicable. It was 0-0 at 4:30 in the 2nd quarter, and that was with two of Sims' turnovers already in the books. Our defense had Shedeur, Hunter, etc all bottled up to that point. Then Sims went full potato with another turnover and the rout was on.
There's no way that happens again. We're the better team. 37-24 Nebraska.
