Another big match-up here. Let's go Levi! Levi presses forward. Tying up & hand fighting. Levi reaches for a leg, but can't get there. Levi takes Minto to the edge. He shoots, but Minto blocks him off. More of the same for a while. Heavy collar ties & hand fighting. Levi takes Minto to the edge & shoots. Levi pushes Minto into the table. Stall warning on Minto. Time for an "Official Review," but I'm not sure why. Sparks just said they're looking at "unnecessary roughness" by Levi. Levi gets scolded for being too rough, point Minto, 1-0. Back to action. Quick stoppage for something. Levi drops to a leg. Minto locks through the crotch. Levi elevates & gets some neutral danger, but time expires. 1-0
Period 2:
Levi takes down. He quickly gets to his feet & gets the escape, 1-1. Back to tying up & hand fighting. Minto shoots, but no luck. More tying up & hand fighting. Levi shoots, Minto counters & finishes the TD, 4-1. Stoppage for something. Levi is still down. He pops to his feet & gets the escape, 4-2. Back to tying up & hand fighting. Levi is looking for an opening, but Minto is doing a good job blocking him off. Levi shoots & gets a leg. Minto locks around the crotch. Levi keeps working & finishes the TD, 5-4. Time expires. 5-4 Levi
Period 3:
Minto takes down. He turns & gets the escape, 5-5. Minto shoots, but Levi blocks him off. Hand fighting & tying up again. Minto shoots, but can't get there. Levi works to a front headlock & tries to come behind, but Minto fights him off. Levi shoots, then hits a knee tap & finishes another TD, 8-5. Levi gives the bow & arrow a try, but no luck. Minto rolls & gets the escape, 8-6. Minto shoots, but Levi fights him off & time expires. What a battle! Levi is money!

This ref sucks. And when did they start putting headsets on the refs and having them live during the match? I don’t care to hear the mindless chatter back and forth with the two refs.
I thought Minto had a stall call before the penalty point. And then another when he stayed on the legs after the TD.

Nebraska has a lot of good wrestlers. Duke was kind of a surprise but not an unthinkable result. Everything else has pretty much gone chalk.

Tip of the hat to Minto, he started out looking like Stallwell Taylor, but he got to his offense eventually.
He definitely showed some offense unlike Taylor.
I expected Minto to have to come up the body with a 5 count to improve. Was surprised by the stalemate call.

Nebraska didn't come to wrestle. Nebraska came to stall and poke eyes.
Silas allred beating max Dean at 197 and now wrestling Rocco at 184 and being smaller is wild.
This is really impressive by Welsh. Allred is very tough to score on.
