If PSU wins, we are the 7 seed in the B1G Tournament and play Indiana. If MD wins, we are the 8 seed and play MSU. We root for PSU.

I don't like this, PSU(9-13) has zero motivation for this game.
They lose 6-13, 3 way tie for 11th,
PSU 1-0 Minn, PSU 1-0 vs NW, NW 1-0 Minn

PSU win 7-12, tied for 10th Indiana

ped st....laying down.......i wouldn't put it past them....their an 8th seed no matter what.........haven' hit a shot yet........12-0 ..... 0 for 7 for the peds

My friend said we should root for Maryland, if they win Rutgers gets the 6 seed in the Big Tens. Right?

No. Wisconsin is locked into the 6. If PSU wins tonight, we get the 7 and play Indiana. If UMD wins tonight, they get the 7, we fall to 8 and get Sparty.

Wrong. If MD wins, it’s a three way tie at 10-10 with RU, MD and Wisconsin. Without going into the gory details, the bottom line is this:

- If MD wins, we’re the 8 seed and play MSU

- if MD loses, we’re the 7 seed and play Indiana

Period

And if we beat Sparta we get Michigan. If Maryland loses we r 7th seed and get Indiana and then Illinois

I'd rather play Michigan than Illinois these days. If you can container Wagner, you have a decent shot at beating Michigan. Wagner looked like Larry Bird against us. Unlikely that would repeat itself.

I don't see us beating Illinois these days.

Let's take our chances in the MSU-Michigan bracket.

We match up much better with illinois and have actually beaten each of last 2 years. Vs. UM which dominates us.
