You really are friggin' stupid aren't you? People on this Board are not sources. If they were they wouldn't be on this Board 24/7! Talk to people who actually worked here and you will get the correct info. So please don't waste both our times by telling me I am wrong.

Right so do I need @MrsScrew to produce the comments quoted directly from the Princeton HC worrying about injuries, etc.

You've yet to produce one shred of documentation to support your claim other than your Princeton buddies who supposedly know something told you. Very very believable.

Now run along and go celebrate with them.

Huh? I don't even know who the Princeton HC is let alone quote him...

Eh...Rutgers and the snobs divorced a long time ago...we occupy different universes...and like matter and anti matter the two should never come together. Some separations are indeed good and should be final.

No dude. RU would have put up 50 on Princeton this year. The size difference in line play is too big.
While its nice that you think ru would have put up 50 against Princeton's D, the problem for ru is Princeton would have put 65+ on a REALLY crappy ru D ! Thus Princeton still wins.

I thought you provided the article that quoted their HC as being worried about injuries. My bad then.
There you go you finally figured it out. You tried to think! Like making an *** of yourself? Well back to celebrating.

Bac, I get so sick of people acting like we are still playing Duquesne in basketball and Lehigh in football. I may be off on this, but when Georgia was looking for a new football coach, their first thought in the administration and the fans minds wasn’t, “Hey let’s see if Mercer’s coach is interested?”

They just put up 21 against Cornell. Let’s stop this nonsense just because they dropped 50+ against Bucknell and Brown

You are right. 21 against Cornell is still more then 10 against Illinois or nothing against anyone else. Princeton still wins.

Wow, you are a maroon. With all the people going after Hobbs on different things no one has ever brought up anything from RU sources that they avoided Princeton. Where's there's no smoke no fire.

An immature poster started the 50+ nonsense by saying RU would drop 50 on Princeton so call out the right individual if you wanna talk ****. Oh yeah, by the way, that 21 pts. gave them their 17th straight win. Think before you type.

My friend who worked with the ru football team told my wife it was ru who did not want to play Princeton.

Wait, Hobbs is changing our colors to maroon ???!!! I hate maroon. It is like a color that doesn’t know what it wants to be. One day it wants to be red. The next day it wants to be cranberry . I don’t care about the $115 million. Fire Hobbs now !!!

Excellent coach that will create zero buzz with recruits. That’s coming from a HS coach.

My main concern at this point. Without talent, we're dead in the water... period.

Despite it being a small school, I can say we are very fortunate we got Coach Pike from SUNY-Stony Brook.

Sure... a team that does not allow live hitting in practice can put up 65+ points against us. Wow, their offense must be better than Michigan.

Dude, they would be unable to even tackle Langan in the backfield. Our running backs would put up 250+ yards rushing.

That's great for the running backs, But another ru problem would be the 400+ yards the Princeton QB would throw for against a REALLY crappy ru D.

I’m not trying to get in the middle of this fight... but just to be clear, there are no real sources (RU or otherwise) going after Hobbs. It’s just the voices in the head of one poster on this board.

Well they hired the defensive coordinator from a national championship team.....hmmm sounds familiar lol.

Surace isn't really a name I'd want as HC but shouldn't be so snobby good coaches can come from anywhere. Chris Klieman is having a good first season at KSU (6-2 currently) coming from NDSU and has already notched a big win against Oklahoma where they took it to them no less.

Think before I post? Really? Oh I’m the moron for not thinking Princeton would drop 65+ on us? That’s rich. I responded to a poster for thinking Princeton would drop 65+ on us. That’s the funniest thing i’ve read all year. But sure, I’m the idiot. Nothing in my post was talking to Princeton’s record. Btw, Liberty has a better offense than Princeton.

It’s laughable how some of these guys come up with this stuff. Apparently we’re the idiots though. All of a sudden they think Princeton is Oregon circa 2010-2014 lol

Dude, nobody in this thread is "crapping in the panties" based on what you think. (What people wear is their business and I don't care what you wear either.) If you think Princeton can beat RU in football, good for you! I disagree.

Someone does not get sarcasm. But yes Princeton would win and nobody knows how much Princeton would or would not score because ru doesn't want to play Princeton.

None. Why are you asking me about my undergarments because I really don't want to know what you're wearing? (Keep your fetishes to yourself.)

Go back and use that line on some 4th grader.

Because RU couldn't put up 50+ even if Princeton (or anyone else) didn't even show up. See anyone can act foolishly! I'm done I have no idea why I would think most people here could handle any conversation on an adult level. Please just stop replying to me!

So you disagree with me and have a different opinion. I still don't think that makes me immature. Immature was the comment involving soiling female undergarments.

Well, sorry that I replied to you. Feel free to put me on the ignore list.

Surace's own words in a 2014 article about the game:

"Our previous AD, Gary Walters, talked about it back in January but it didn't really go anywhere,'' Surace said. "When our new AD, Mollie Marcoux, got the job, I guess she spoke with (Rutgers AD) Julie (Hermann) about it. (Marcoux) actually sat down with me about it, and I shared my concern that it doesn't make a lot of sense to play a team that has several more games under their belt than we have. It's a Big Ten team. There's nothing to gain for us from a football perspective. As good as they are, that would put us in a difficult position. It sounded like it kind of ended then.

"But you never know. It's five years away. To me, that's an eternity.''

https://www.nj.com/rutgersfootball/...inceton_coaches_talk_about_possibility_o.html

Doesn't sound like a coach who wanted the game now does it.

Michigan didn't put up 65 on Rutgers, but Princeton would? You are a fking dumbass.
