Very interesting one. Typically lines ends up very close to KemPom/Torvik projections so would put at RU +2 or +3.
However big drivers to consider are Indiana coming off a storm the court win game, Indiana and their #1 star clearly circling this game due to RU's recent dominance, Mag's injury and then the overall "RU as matched up well against Indiana" recently.

All being said, I think intangibles move line to RU +4.5

Just want to make sure if you were betting the right way! Law of averages. I don’t like this game at all. Hopefully they have a let down after their big Purdue upset

I would hammer Indiana with anything less than -6. I love this RU team, but I think it’s going to take a few games to adjust to no Mag. Both teams played an emotional, high stakes game on Saturday and I don’t think IU is sleeping on Rutgers anymore.

Rutgers will eventually lose to Indiana. They will be gunning for Rutgers on Tuesday. Probably Indiana -6. Plus no Mag for a long while 😩.

On Paper this feels like we are ripe to get blown out. Indy is hungry and surging. But the reality is we have proven we can hold teams in the 50s and low 60s which means we always have a shot to pull out a close game.

i would bet Indiana team total over , assuming its 68 or 69.

Reiber and Oscar getting big minutes?? potential for Cliff and fouls

Indiana shoots the ball very well at home. night and day vs outside of Assembly Hall.

How ridiculous. You think they have been sleeping on us as we have dominated them. We have out toughed them and just been the better team as we will be on Tuesday night. Emotional stuff both ways as they finally took down Purdue who they were 2-9 again and Purdue was #1 and they stormed the court. We played at MSG and had to gut it out to get the victory and we lost MAG. We are still the better team . So this a pick ‘‘em game on a neutral and they get 3 for home court so RU +3. I am expecting RU to win.

Does basketball work the same way as football for home court (you get 3 pts)? I really don’t follow basketball betting lines so I’m not familiar.

I phrased it wrong. What I meant to say is that in this situation this would be a trap game against 90% of teams. As others have mentioned, I think Indiana players have this game circled on the calendar now. I doubt they have a Purdue hangover.

He was spitting nails about our last matchup too. And we punked them.
