Tbone How are you feeling this morning? For the first time in a while I bought some bulleit when the sip started, no regrets. After I finished the knob creek that I had open I have been drinking the bulleit on ice. It might be my drink for a while. I highly recommend the 10 yo bulleit.

It's very good. Eagle Rare is my go-to but it's virtually impossible to find in the state of Mississippi.

hair of the dog. I make a good bloody mary. I just use zing zang as my base but add fresh lemon, horseradish, worschesire and pickle juice. the pickle juice and lemon is the most important. I also add tabasco and tonys on the top

I couldn’t even find Woodford the other day. They were out of my first 3 choices. I’m going to drive to a few different ones tomorrow.

I go thru phases. Far a long time it was Woodford, then Four Roses Small Batch, Wild Turkey Rare Breed, Four Roses Single Barrel and lately its been Knob Creek but it might be Bulleit for a while. My tastes seem to change. There was a period that all bourbon tasted too sweet and I had to drink scotch but I am over that.

All the liquor stores are picked bare right now, it seems. They are essential, after all.

I went the other day and was able to get some Makers 46 because the stock guy was bringing a box of it in from the back. Score! I also got the last bottle of John Daniels (old joke) for making mixers.
