Probably a dumb question BUT

[UK4Life#9]

This is probably dumb and if so, I apologize to absolutely no one BUT why is Kentucky Message boards the only ones constantly changing and going away??? I venture over to little brothers forums every now and then to get a few laughs and theirs seems completely unchanged or different in any way. Is it because Kentucky’s has high traffic and there’s money in it for ADs, subscriptions and such or what is it???

it does seem to be the only one to keep changing but i wouldnt blame it on traffic. Go look at UTs gamethread. its much longer than ours. they have almost 50 pages. i guess we could have more traffic overall but i doubt it if UT basketball has as much interaction as we do. im sure their football and baseball threads stay flowing more than UKs. i used to be a frequent visitor/troll over there on vol nation. got perma banned lol.

That's surprising. Every forum I've visited has always been a ghost town compared to ours. Makes me wonder if the now TWICE forum changes for us have nuked a lot of long time posters. Because I find it hard to believe Tenn would outpace Kentucky on a forum, and really any school for that matter.

check out volnation real quick. they are pretty similiar to rafters. most other forums you have to pay. i cant see most other sec teams but volnation is free. just to see the traffic. ik you probably dont give a **** what they are saying over there.

Ill take your word for it. I wonder why that is. Are we losing general fan interest? I mean its not like Tenn is some great basketball program, and I think most fans are kind of ready to move on from Barnes. You'd think the apathy and lack of any real tournament success would have emptied that place out.

Man you would not believe it…. But even with no final fours they believe recent success of going about 500 against us has them in the same category when talking about college basketball.

I don’t think many. That site has never had much traffic and I don’t see it happening now.

Combination of the program not doing too well in recent years + the merger drama. The merger pissed off a lot of people and led them to other forums.

After a loss though this place is still jumping.

It is the only one that changes because it is the only one we look at. I couldn't tell you if TCU changed recently or at all.

It feels like this site is still down at least a good 15 to 20% of regulars. But I also know our program has been in such a slide these last few years that people are checking out. I mean I stopped watching the last few games, because we were so putrid. I will start tuning in a little more because I think we might have found something these last few games.. so im sure im not the only one.

Cool. I can tell you that UL’s has not changed one bit. I’ve been trolling the same forum for many years but got banned recently and can only read now.

Maybe some of those long time posters just didn't like where it has gone with the trolls, and negative BS. It's been a little better recently with the BIG win over Tennessee
