Slay, cox and Jones selected to the pro bowl.

I kinda expected Preston smith to get in too.

I hoped Dak would make it too. Hard to argue with Russell Wilson, Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers though.

Dak sitting at 4th place under 3 of the best to ever play the game is respectable. Ah, the possibilities; if only Joe could have sharpened his sideline monitoring skills

Was leading the nfl in Yds up until this week but didnt make the pro bowl...

Personally, I think passer rating is the stat to look at; dak is 12th (7th in nfc). QBR likes dak better though... got him 4th (2nd in nfc)

Qbr takes much more into account than just the bare min passing stats like rating does. Qbr is the bapip, or whatever it is you mlb nerds jerk it to, if football

One of those will likely make the Super Bowl, in which case they will be replaced. If I’m not mistaken that’s how he made it his rookie year. If he finishes the season strong and one of those 3 make the SB then I fully expect Dak to be named as a replacement again.

Even if none of those 3 make the SB I would bet one of them doesn't go. Like you said, Dak is next up.

What does the greatest TE that never was have to do to catch a bone? Lead the league in passing (beating out The likes of Jackson, Rogers, Brady, Wilson, among others that played a full season) AND throw for 8 billion yards?!??? If the cowboys are even 10-4 maybe even 9-5, he is a pro-bowler easy. Not a huge deal.

Honestly, All our boys are lucky to have made it. Two missed very significant time due to injury and one had a pretty quiet year based on his past production(cox). Tickled they made it, but probably the most deserving didn’t.

Winston leads the nfl in passing yds. Here's the top 5 in passing yds...
1. Winston
2. Dak
3. Rivers
4. Goff
5. Ryan

I think that’s how he made it last year. His rookie year he was a consensus pick I believe.

Yep, it discounts garbage time yards and also includes rushing stats too, I think.

Dak’s receivers lead the NFL in drops....he’s had 33 balls put on the turf. If you take just half of those out, his passer rating probably climbs quite a bit.

No Dak. Kind of snubbed.
Dak leads the best offense in the NFC per DVOA while also leading the NFC in QBR. He's being punished for his team's record that is a result of having the worst special teams in the league and a below average defense.

I have no doubt it's always that way, though. If a star QB has a great record, they go to the Pro Bowl. I'm sure Dak will be on the other side of this a time or two later in his career.
