NFL eliminating Pro Bowl Games, but will still name Pro Bowlers - ESPN

About 20 years overdue=-hopefully other sports follow their lead but the NFL was always the worst due to when it was played.

They should have gotten rid of it when they finally axed the college all stars vs. NFL champs game. Last one played in Chicago in 1976. I guess the players wanting one more game check prevented this from happening back then when the players made considerably less money than they do now.
