Hard to believe people can’t tell the difference . Ever hear of Grundy va? That place was famous for how few blacks there were in county. Not sure if there was even one in the 70’s.

Thats a sweeping statement. Not all "inner city" is black. And I've been in the Bronx before, which you could call inner city, and not had an issue. I'm sure its there though...just as blacks aren't welcome in rural parts of certainly places. That doesn't mean the inner city is more or less violent that its because those that live in the inner city are black.
I've heard of it. Mom is from Williamson, which isn't far from there. I'm not arguing there are rural places where there are few African Americans. I'm not sure of the point.
Grundy is a racist place is the point. Famous story is a black gets off train and asks where the blacks hang out. Guy says. “ last one hung out of that tree!” I live in va, Gainesville west is not racist

I didn't say Gainesville is racist. We used to drive by Gainesville on the way to Charleston. It was past that, but that was the closest town name that I could remember. The point was that it gets redneck w/ a quickness not far outside DC.

My grandparents lived there and I grew up in Iaeger, 36 miles. Feel like I’m in DC, I’m on 81, traffic jam. Moved 2-3 miles in an hour.
You don't get it. You won't have a problem. Put some blackface on or adopt a black friend for the day and you'll see it. I'm not making **** up just for the sake of it.
And the other point is its not about inner city or rural or black or white. Back about 15 years ago, my Mom owned a building in Williamson where she grew up...mixed use place downtown...not that there is much downtown there. She went down from Charleston to look in on the building. The building next door...think it was a Hatfield Sporting Goods back in the day...had some sort of commotion. She went over and the place was turned into a meth den. She walked in and someone pulled a knife on here. Luckily she turned around, left and nothing happened. Guess what? They were white. There is crime, drugs and violence in white areas just as there is in largely african american areas.
And when she was little her parents owned a restaurant in that building. They used to have people throw rocks there their storefront window all the time, because some thought they were black. They were Armenian...but they didn't either know the difference or just didn't care. That was a long time ago, but I wouldn't doubt the same **** would happen today down that way.
Crime is everywhere. My family was from Matewan.my uncle was a pretty prominent business man down there.

I bet 90% of blacks are honest, hardworking etc. that means 10% are committing 22% of the felonies

There is no such thing as a racist word. It is entirely dependent on the context. In the example you cite above, it is racist. There are plenty of examples when it is not, particularly in the entertainment industry.
Or really, I should say it depends on the race of the person saying it. Ironic as hell, isn't it?
