That I'm not being stupidly dismissive about everything doesn't make me soft. Princewell is in that same conversation as those guys and maybe with an even higher upside than most. Also wouldn't be surprised if 1 or more from your list ended up moving on as well. You want talented young players on the roster, and I do as well. Well, one of those just left in Princewill.

One that I really wanted to keep. The one I hate losing the most so far...

1.5 sacks in 2 years? how can we possibly make up for that production?

If you watched the game or actually knew what you were watching you would understand why he's a meaningful loss...despite his stats

Just goes to show our talent lol. If he’s our youngest and talented guy then let that sink in. Some mid 3* hidden gem will backfill even though we lost our top 5 maybe 6 DL. Look out OSU!!

He’s only a loss if he was willing to do what it took to earn playing time

When he was on the field for us he was a good player. Not only that his upside was probably higher than most. Maybe the next staff could get that out of him. Maybe not but just his ceiling along makes him a loss. Not to mention his room had already lost a couple players.

No way he's not a loss. Maybe they find someone better in the portal. I don't think so but who knows.

Saw this coming but 🤷🏽‍♂️ he seemed to be disengaged and was pretty much passed up by WM Jr . Good luck to him he's a great talent

Look at the depth chart. Gbayor and Princewell were projected starters.
Not so sure. Gbayor was getting passed up by Mcgahee and Shavers, Princewill too and he had off field things going on as well. Look at the quality of LB signing today.... Javin may very well get 1 more years as well.
Mcgahee, Shavers, Jones, Merritt, Wright. Sherman may even get a covid and redshirt year..?

Let's hope so on Javin and Sherman. May need it at this point. Couldn't afford to lose Knighton.

He didn't make the jump i hoped but he does have the measurables and put it in tape last year.
Bingo. He went from an up and comer last season to all but forgotten this year. Not sure what happened. Obviously lost out on some playing time to some teammates. Not a huge loss in the portal era. But in the college football of old, he would have been a guy you would have hoped to develop into a standout in his 4th & 5th year.

We know what he have in those two, but the young kids behind that have more potential. I'd like to see some new blood get a chance. Having said that, with Javin, he's never really had his chance yet so if he could get to 100% health I would like to see what he could be.

I'm praying we hold on to Shavers and McGahee. Don't have the best feeling about either one.

I'm actually higher on Sherman. He was DOMINANT against Iowa. Just a man amongst boys.

You want to get down from 145 to 105 without losing anybody that's currently on the depth chart.

A majority of the players are walkons that don't contribute much.
I'm not seeing much difference between a walk-on who doesn't contribute much and a scholarship guy who doesn't contribute much.

Adapt to the new world 1/3 of our team won’t be here next year. Other schools will have a ton of talent hitting the portal too. This year is going to be bonkers for transfer portal and many will be left without a seat in the P4. We also don’t know the conversations taking place behind closed doors regarding their potential positions next year. To act like this is a Rhule thing is absurd.
In this new world of musical chairs with the 105 player limit won’t there be a lot of players unable to find a chair? I think FCS and even Div II schools are going to benefit from an influx of leftover players.

Could afford to lose him if he is replaced by a better recruiter and coach. Javin likely gets a medical. I don't know about MJ but looking at it he was on a roster in 2020 and played less than 4 games in 1 of 5 years. I think he gets a covid year if he wants it.
