The networks have to see the numbers. The numbers don’t lie. Surely they know more people are finding and watching the hack Iranian sec baseball streams on YouTube. Last night in the 9th inning, 3,100 people were watching. Compared to the 270 viewers that were watching softball on sec network. The numbers don’t lie, and when the network ignores the numbers and what’s selling best, they are making a bad business decision.

No asterisks needed.

Cornhole, pickleball, poker, and even drone racing are more popular and have a more widely available national tv window.
Uh.....you may want to do a little more research. It's not Football or even basketball but it's growing and growing fast!

I’m with leeinator in this one.

much like with the advancement of technology and replay review showed us the truth with bias officiating

now with the advancement of technology and streaming has shown us that the narrative telling us that all these other sports bringing more viewers is just not true. We see it first hand now. But we knew it all along based solely on attendance numbers.

Here is Another example. This video , uploaded 14 hours ago. . . Merely showing only the highlights of the Miss State/Georgia game is already up to over 19,000 unique viewers in 14 hours! The most views the sec YouTube page has ever had on video with highlights is less than 3,000.

Get prepared, that’s the way all sports are headed. At some time in the future, the Super Bowl will be pay per view.
Funny how tv viewership is slowly turning into all ppv. Where’s the coexistence, diversity and equality in that. Hell no I don’t believe in none of that ****, I’m just calling out the morons for bitching how that’s how everything should be now and here we have tv falling off a cliff.

YouTube view counts are not unique viewers. They count total views. Meaning person can watch the same highlights video 5, 10, or 20+ times and it counts as part of the 19,000 views. The actual number of unique viewers is most likely less than half of that.

Maybe in Starkville but it’s not growing nationally. Pickleball, Cornhole, Drone Racing and Esports, and women’s volleyball and softball are all growing faster than baseball- and that’s why they get more widely available linear TV coverage than college baseball. It just is what it is.

The network doesn’t care. It’s unwoke not to show softball.

Every game is on YouTube for free. Just search Mississippi State Baseball Live.
Yes and therein lies the discrepancy of bulldoghair’s narrative. He seems to proclaim it’s just one crazy guy watching the same sec baseball videos over and over again and not doing it with any of the softball games, drone races or cornhole, but the proof is in the pudding now and it’s there for the world to see.

the game 1 highlight video is now over 33K. I’m not seeing any of the other sport highlights he mentions with more than a couple of hundred.
