After the presser when talking to reporters. He said family is off limits and if they approach his family again, he won't answer their questions.
Yeah I get that but lets face it...the next time reporters will want to interview his family is going to be if there is a need for another coaching search.

More with Sharpe:

Sharpe: "Scott we've been very impressed over the last 6 weeks with Bill Moos...how important was it for you to feel comfortable with him for you to take this job?"

SF: "I wouldn't have taken this job if I wasn't comfortable with that. Because looking from afar, Nebraska hasn't been Nebraska for a while. I think Bill Moos is a Nebraska kind of guy. I think he's going to offer that kind of leadership. People that are from here understand how special it is and what makes it special...and I think Bill Moos is going to give us an opportunity to build that."

I think this is very important to remember. I've heard some people basically suggesting that everything was set in motion and all Bill Moos had to do was not screw it up. But that's really unfair to him and his role in getting Frost here. He had to sell himself as Frost's boss. Hire the wrong guy as AD, and Frost probably isn't here now.

I think SF put that message across loud and clear. At least to my ears, SF, much as he loved this place, was never coming back unless all the pieces were in place. It was also loud and clear that those pieces didn't include people like FADSE or people like Perlman.

Before it even starts let me be the first to say that he won the press conference and also let me be the first to say that "That question was so stupid, gosh"

Anyone else want to help predict the future?

Favorite Frost quote was when he was asked about how he needs to adapt his style to fit the BIG10 and he said, the big10 is going to need to adapt to us.

I remember trying so hard to like Riley's presser but just didn't. Felt right away that he just didn't get it.

This was so refreshing and makes so much sense.

When Riley said he took the job so he could have "one last adventure", I knew then it probably wasn't going to work out. It takes an extreme level of competitiveness to succeed here.

1. The level Frost and staff will demand is going to shake out malcontents. How many? Who knows but some guys are not going to be able to adjust.

2. I thought that football nut inside me was dead. Until today. I was pretty jacked about Pelini to be honest when he got hired. Today was flashbacks to the heyday....you can just feel Frost won't accept anything but a high level of play and knows how to get there. Going to be fun!!

Scott Frost
What a pro
But not "smooth" like Callahan
Genuine, Sincere
LAZER focus
He gets it
He has a vision and a plan to implement it
Ultra competitive
Can relate to the young player
Hard worker
Integrity
Can earn the trust of his kids
Football genius- innovator like TO
GREAT leader- CEO- big thinker
MATURE
Confident but not cocky
Understands Culture is #1 and knows how to implement it
This team will play hard and look like they care

SO PROUD to have him coaching the team I love so much

HIT THIS OUT OF THE PARK at this press conference

Its evident- Pearlman and Eichorst needed to be gone and we have quality people that get football are now in charge

GREAT day to be a Husker fan
