Because there are 400 plus schools in this state, not just Northeastern.
It was just a joke. You are absolutely correct but I can say without hesitation that NHS has more talent on the field yr in and yr out than most 2a schools. Although were far away from most of the schools in the state we are fortunate to be in an area that is loaded with talent. A lot of it has to do with our proximity to the Tidewater area of Va. So many families from south Hampton Roads are relocating to northeastern NC because the cost of living is so much cheaper here than Va Beach,Chesapeake,Norfolk,etc. So obviously Northeastern usually has a pretty good influx of talent almost every year.
Yeah,your program has been good for long time. Just so darn far to drive for most 2A teams,4 hours or so
I think what fanatic was trying to say its alot of schools alot of good players and this NC Preps preseason all state team is everyone 4A-1A and often teams like that someone is going to get left off and most of the time its the 2A and 1A kids.....with that being said i believe Spellman led all of 2A in sacks last season so im sure if NC Preps did a all state team for just 2A im sure him.and several other Northeastern players would be on that list......moral of the story dont take it personal just the nature of the beast

his stats weren't reported to maxpreps actually none of Clinton players stats were
We use to but he stopped when Lewis left.....no stats were reported to the local newspapers either.....ima take stats down for my own personal info this season and share with the radio guys so atleast we have some idea
They’re three weak side defensive ends ranked better then him in the state, one being Desmond Evans, the top rated player in the state, and 2nd highest wde in the country. Not taking anything away from Spellman, he’s a great wde, but rated the 4th best in the state.
